Altered Natives

Hoya Hoya's resurgent label arm continues to impress, following with a three-tracker of optimum quality from one of the UK's most undervalued talents, Altered Natives. Amusingly entitled "The Beastly Ghastly", this 12" is a glowing example of why more people need to know about Danny Yorke. Apparently the decision to sign up Mr. Natives came after he completely destroyed the Hoya Hoya dancefloor with the unabashed slab of rudeness that is the title track a few months back - good work HH and good work AN! On the flip, you get a more considered side to Altered Natives on two brilliantly named tracks in "The Flattery Of Stalkers" and "Once Bitten Twice Removed" with the freeform stutter of the latter particularly memorable.
